C-Tec addressable heat detector is a programmable fire alarm device designed for use with C-Tec’s CAST protocol addressable fire panels. It can be configured to operate as a rate-of-rise (A1R), 64°C fixed (A2), or 76°C fixed (B) heat detector, and includes an onboard short-circuit loop isolator. Key features include dual red LED indicators for 360° visibility and programmable sensitivity settings for different times of day to minimize false alarms.

C-Tec addressable heat detector key features
- Programmable detection modes: Can be set to A1R (rate of rise and fixed), A2 (64°C fixed), or B (76°C fixed) to suit various environments.
- CAST protocol compatible: Integrates with C-Tec’s XFP and ZFP addressable fire alarm systems.
- Onboard loop isolator: Ensures loop integrity and continued operation during a fault condition.
- Dual LED indicators: Two ultra-bright red LEDs provide 360° alarm indication. An optional remote LED can also be connected.
- Adjustable sensitivity: Sensitivity can be programmed for different periods, such as day/night or occupancy, to reduce false alarms.
- Certifications: LPCB certified to EN54-5 & 17 and Kiwa Telefication certified to EN54-13.
- Installation: Requires a compatible CA408 CAST base for installation, which includes an integrated locking mechanism and ID tag.
